Uk Online Bingo Industry going through a boom!
One of the biggest UK online bingo authority websites: BingoPort.co.uk, released data a few days ago showing that Internet bingo use in the United Kingdom has risen significantly over the past six months.
The data shows that since September 2007 the average daily player numbers across all UK focused online bingo operators has increased by around 19%.
«I don't think this increase has taken anyone that works in the online bingo industry by surprise,» said BingoPort.co.uk Managing Director and co-founder, Scott Logan. «As one of very few companies here in the UK collecting industry wide data, we've seen this coming for quite a while.»
The main factor in the rise, according to Logan, is the proliferation of bingo operators taking their message into mainstream media via extensive marketing campaigns after the UK authorities relaxed their strict TV advertising policies for gambling just six months ago.
